Stage One // “Commercial Shoot”
Judge #1

Performance: A-
Confidence looks good on her. She looked sure of what she was doing and nailed the poses she tried very well.
Variety: A
She switched up poses and looks often. Very good.
Creativity: B+
I would have liked to see more props or environments, but that’s my only issue. Other than that, this was a great shoot from her.

Performance: A
I’m not sure how long she has been modeling, but this girl seems to be picking up the basics rather well. This seemed like an “intermediate” type of shoot for everyone to show what they’re made of and this model showed me a lot. It’s important to, not only know your poses, but to execute them well when you need to and she mostly did just that. I am impressed and would like to see more from her.
Variety: A+
The model did a stellar job of changing up her poses and looks throughout her shoot so that I didn’t get bored looking through her photos. A+
Creativity: A
They say “less is more” and this model seemed to embody that term. She didn’t use a lot of props or gimmicks to get her shoot over, but instead, relied on using her brain and her body to make the shoot work and she did a very good job with that. This show is the perfect environment for her as she can learn and gain confidence. The model is very impressive so far.

She did GREAT! Way to kill it, girl! Everything you were doing was on point. I flipped through your photos and was like “yep, yep, yep!” You nailed what you were trying to do!
Variety: A+
You didn’t switch up your location very much, but you didn’t need to! You did enough switching with your face and your body!!
Creativity: A+
No props necessary! Girl, you had enough creativity in your poses to kill it!

Stage Two // “Scream Queens”
Judge #1
Performance
: A+
The model did a fantastic job at portraying fear in her photos – which was the point of the shoot.  I’m not sure if acting comes naturally to her or she practiced a lot, but whatever she was doing worked well for her here.  It’s important to take a theme, for any shoot, and do your best to bring it to life.  This model did exactly that.  Her score is well deserved.
Variety: A+
She seemed to understand the necessity to change up her faces and poses to make the shoot more interesting.  Too many times I see models who have one or two tricks and they repeat those tricks over and over until the shoot is finished.  This model showed how diverse she really is.
Creativity
: A+
She looked like an early century (20’s?) woman who encountered something terrible.  I wasn’t expecting this from anyone, but I appreciated this idea very much. This show seems to be the perfect environment for a new model like her to flourish and learn the ropes. She’s not walking – she’s sprinting.

Sydney L. looked as if she was ready for this shoot.  This is not an easy concept to pull off, but all of her poses were spot on for it.  She used her arms as well as her face.  Even though the shots were ¾ body, it’s still a good idea to use your whole body to tell your story and Sydney did that.
Variety: A

I liked all the variety she brought to the shoot.  She never got too comfortable or complacent.
Creativity: A

Interesting idea!  I think she was from the twenties.  You don’t see that a lot in horror.

Judge #3
Performance: A+

Goosebumps!  Girl, you looked scared!  I don’t know how you did it, but you did it!
Variety: A+

I saw so many different angles, poses, and faces in her shoot.  Keep mixing it up!
Creativity

The old timey costume stood out to me.  Loved it!  Doing something that no one else has done automatically helps you in the creativity category!

Stage Three – Urban Swimwear
Judge #1
Performance: B+
Def. the cutest wardrobe, however she didn’t use it to her full ability!  Sexy pinup!
Variety: B+
Poses were safe and seemed kinda stuck in the same range throughout the shoot.
Creativity: B+
Loved the fact that she chose pinup!  She was the only one who did this.  It’s always a good idea to stand out!

Judge #2
Performance: A+
I like that she tried many different poses AND she executed them very well!
Variety: A
She had good movement and pose ideas but it looks like she forgot emotion in a lot of them. She did get some really great shots.
Creativity: A
I like the pin up theme and she did pair it with pin up poses, very cute and sassy!

Judge #3
Performance: B+
Cute pin up look but needed bolder over the top poses. Best smile!
Variety: B+
Don’t be afraid to work those angles and have fun with it!
Creativity: B+
Accessories and props would have given a little more to the variety with the single outfit choice.

FINAL SCORE: 70
